I saw this on the Today show (yes, i watch the today show in the am. I know, not proud of it) and thought it was kinda cool. It's kinda an art project where folks send thier secrets on a postcard that you make into this guy, and he takes them and puts them into books (think he's on #4) and publishes them. You can see some samples on his blog. I guess my secret would be that I'm totally petrified of cancer coming back in me and having to go thru sugery/chemo again. You all could have prob guessed that one, I'm sure.

Those are pretty intense. The power of the spoken word, relative to a thought, is significant. You can talk about your fear--bring it out to consider it and address it and teach yourself how to rise above it. Beating it up with some words is a good start. PS. Jessie wouldn't let me name the boy Reuben Hurricane Carter.
Good time to share: I'm scared of having a child and not being the best parent I can possibly be; and be forced to deal with the consequences as he grows up. Ultimately, I know the sky is the limit on what effort I put into being the best parent ever, and even if I am a great parent, Liam could still hate me. At the end of the day, I believe I'll be successful and I'm going to give it my all. Success is in a higher power's hands and to a certain degree, that is comforting.
We're all scared of something, but the positive vibes from our collective hearts and souls are strong enough to beat anything.
i am positive you will make one of the best dad's around. no ? on that one, my friend.
