Lower Boulder Lake

We hit the trails with a great crew this weekend and had a blast. The weather was perfect and the stage was set for a great time. Our trip took us just north of Dillon/Silverthorne up to Lower Boulder Lake. While my gluts are pretty sore, it was all worth the sweat- the spot was gorgeous. We got up there early and got a great spot and spent the afternoon and evening fishing and enjoying cold bevs (the water was COLD and great for chilling brews and such).

What a great weekend...and looking even more forward to some WSP at the rocks this weekend (a three day weekend for me this weekend and next!). Man, do I love summer. Even more so, I love being healthy again and able to really enjoy this stuff.

Al Green has still got it.

I have no idea how old Al is, but he sounds just like he did way back when on this new album that recently came out. It's groovy.

These guys know how to celebrate

I was uploading all the pics off our camera today and this was on there (from the arts festival in Highlands last weekend) and I just loved it. Talk about smilers.

Our yard is currently going off:

Will and Mere really did our yard up w/ xeriscape action- and it's looking amazing. The huge rose bush is really looking nice- I've seen people stop and take pictures lately. The weather is finally warming up and feelig like summer, but man- I LOVE the weather here in the summer. It's not too hot and feels great. We are still yet to turn on our AC.

Hello again!

Hello again out there in blogland. Been a minute since I've said hello. In that time, Baracnophobia has swept the nation, twinkies now have expiration dates and 1300 tornadoes have wrecked the midwest. Kidding, well, sort of.

Post cancer life has been treating us well, as I'm feeling like a champ and hitting my stride. I'm back on the bike/swim/run/drum routine and trying to sneak in some tennis, hikes and golf as well.

Pictured above is a ride we did at Hail Ranch north of Boulder a few weeks ago. It was our first mountain ride post chemo (we ride in the city all the time) and I was feeling great. Was good to dominate again.
