The surgeon said it couldn't of gone better! He removed a foot of his colon and the golf size tumor, and was able to do it laparoscopically, so healing and scaring will be less that an open surgery. Though we won't know for sure until Thursday what stage it's in, we are expecting chemotherapy (the doc was honest about his intuition, but again, we won't know for sure until thursday).
Well we are all so relieved but i'm still extremely emotional. I allow that. He is in recovery and we will get to see his sweet face in a couple of hours. I can't wait for that. And then I'm bunking up with my baby for the week. We have a private room-room 521 at St. Luke's/Presbyterian Hospital.
Just so you guys know, I'm already starting to plan his 5 year party! In 5 years, he will be considered "cancer free!" That's going to be quite a celebration. Hmmm, wonder what rap will I bust out for that occasion?
I love you all! This is such good news!

So so glad to hear it went well and that he is rid of that thing. We will keep up the prayers/vibes/thoughts for the coming days.
