Also

the doctor found no visible additional cancer in his body, so that confirmation is exactly what we wanted to here. chemo is necessary if it's in his lymph nodes (find out thursday). . . then that could mean there are other nasty cancer cells floating around his body, but chemo would take care of that. otherwise, chemo may be a good idea just to make sure we conquer this. the doctor said, for a 33 year old man, why not do chemo just in case, cause his youthful body can take it!

one thing at a time though, i have to keep reminding myself. we have only just begun but the worst part is definitely over! i feel so blessed-i am 100% sure all your love and energy has contributed to us getting through this.

All of this brings a tears to my eyes as I've finally had a chance to actually read what has been going on....I did send good energy between 12:00 and 3:00 today but I couldn't be happier with what you have communicated. It all sounds like good news and my new focus will be towards Thursday.

Stay in touch - there are a lot of people thinking of you both!

sweet sweet dreams tonight Andy and Mere and all my dear dear gathered family. I am overjoyed with the news, wishing SO I could be there to spread around some Keyser/Thompson hugs, and tell you all how much I love you, how incredibly in awe I am of Andy, and how we are all sending SO many spirit sprinkles from the Maine woods tonight. Let's only have top ten days :o). And when it's too chilly, I'll just hop into my couch dress. Still praying, and waiting for more good news on Thursday/Friday. Y'all try to kick back a bit tonight - Andy is beginning his journey of healing and soon will be feeling SO strong and eating firecracker hot dogs in no time. XOXOXO from Maine.

I am so thankful you guys have this blog. We've been thinking of you guys and praying all day for the 2 of you. So So So happy to hear things went so good! We miss you both. And I hate that it took cancer for us to realize that we've been way out of touch! Never again! And what I'm getting ready to say will hurt, but if Andy can fight cancer then I can do this for him. Ok, here goes... "Go Dawgs!" Ouch, that hurt.
Love Y'all. Keep sharing. Our prayers surround you and Andy!

More love from Georgia. Mere, it is amazing how you radiate through the text of this blog. You are a bright, shining light. I believe you alone could heal Andy through your love and commitment to him. But, just in case, we are all behind him as well. It sounds like the surgery could not have gone better. How exciting. Onward to Thursday. I am always thinking of ya'll and sending good thoughts your way. Give Andy a big hug!

So I wake up this morning to FINALLY check out the blog (which I have never had experience with) and as soon as Patrick brings up the site, I say...wholly s*%t! Andy made a website before he went into surgery! And then Patrick gives me "you so crazy but I love you anyway look" before taking off for work...then I sit down and start reading. Mere- you know I'm not much of a crier but I can't even tell you how strongly, seeing all that you and all your friends wrote has impacted me. You guys rock! Oh, and nice job on the website Andy :)
